Snapseed background color change tutorial - Timothy Concept

Hi folks, how are you doing today? I hope you guys are doing amazingly well today. First of all, I want to welcome you guys to a new week, making it Monday today for me to post this editing tutorial. Now this photo editing tutorial that I've bought for you today is about how to change the background color of your photo and give it a better color effect. In my YouTube channel, you will find tons of videos on how to change the background of a photo, but in today's editing, you will find out that today's tutorial is amazing, as you can see in the photo below. As you know, creating a new idea takes a lot of effort, so I love to hear from you on what you think in the comment section, as well as a positive response that will always make me motivated to create more YouTube videos and editing tutorials for you guys.

As you can see from the photo above, you will notice that there are two images of the same model with the same pose, and the noticeable difference is that one of the images is edited and the other is not edited. The one on the right side is the not-edited version, and the one on the left is the edited version. You can see that the color quality of the edited version is more pleasing and of high quality and resolution, while in the non-edited image on the right side of the photo, the color quality is very poor and the background is also dull. So what I did with the natural image on the right side was to change the background color by giving a perfect edit and adding some text font to make it look appealing to the eyes, and the way I did this was by using a png file and a Lightroom preset, which I'll be explaining below this post.

What app I used to create the snapseed background color change tutorial

I made use of two app in editing this concept which are the Lightroom app and the Snapseed app, you can also make use of this app in editing your own photos, they are very easy to use and both app are free to download.

Steps to edit The photos includes:

  • Download the lightroom application as well as a Snapseed app on your device
  • Download the files that is below this post which contain the preset and also the png file that was used in editing this background color change concept.
  • Open the lightroom application and add the photo you want to edit as well as a preset you downloaded earlier.
  • Then after you copy the settings from the preset and you paste the setting to the photo you want to edit.
  • Save the photo to your photo album.
  • Then you open your snapseed mobile app and add image you just saved into the app.
  • Click on the menu bar and find double exposure icon.
  • Add the png file you downloaded earlier.
  • Then after change the blend mode of the png file to "ADD" option
  • So as not to make your editing appear fake you need to do some little color grading
  • Use the portrait icon inside the menu bar to color grade your photo so as to make it look more real.
  • Now you save your image
  • You are done with the snapseed background color change tutorial
