Snapseed photo editing tutorial - Background Change

Hello, my photo editor family, how are you guys doing? I hope you guys are doing amazingly today. After spending over half a decade in the mobile photo editing space, I'm here with another photo editing tutorial that is going to transform the creativity of your photo editing skills. This concept is known as the Snapseed background change, and I'll be given the full tutorial on how I was able to achieve this editing in this post. Changing your photo background is a very easy trick that every beginner can do just by reading this post. I'm not only providing you with the png file and background file, but I'll also be giving you a step-by-step tutorial on how I was able to achieve the background change concept using the mobile Snapseed application. Also, before we dive into the tutorial, I have created many other photo editing tutorials on this blog that you can check out, and if you are not usually into reading, you can check out some of my YouTube videos on my channel at Timothy Concept for photo editing tutorials.

In the photo above, you will find out that there are two images of the same model, and the only difference you can notice in the two images is the color quality of the photos. On the left side of the photo, you will notice that it is the non-edited image. The model is standing in a green grass background. The picture's quality is pretty good, and it's very natural, but to get it enhanced, we applied the Snapseed photo editing tutorial in this post to get a more amazing color quality and make the picture more appealing.

What app I used to create this editing

I make use of the mobile Snapseed app for creating this concept which is changing of background of your photo. The snapseed app is one of the best photo editing mobile app out there for good color quality editing. To learn about this snapseed app check out my YouTube channel Timothy Concept.

How to Change Your Photo BACKGROUND

To get the full knowledge about this photo editing concept, follow the instructions below step by step

  • The first step is to download the snapseed mobile app on your device either from the Apple Store or from your Play Store.
  • The next step is to download the png and background file that I have provided below this post.
  • Open your snapseed mobile app.
  • Add the photo you want to edit.
  • Then after you click on the menu bar, select the tune image Icon and reduce the saturation to -100, giving your photo a black and white effect.
  • After you click on the tick icon to return to the homepage of Snapseed.
  • You click on the Edit stack layer in the homepage of your snapseed app and click on the view edit option and I then remove the black and white effect from your model face and skin and once you're done with the Adjustment you move back to the snapseed homepage.
  • Click on the menu bar, Look for the double exposure icon and open the double exposure icon, import the red color png file you downloaded in this post and change the blend mode to overlay to give your photo a kind of red looking background effects.
  • Go back to the Edit stack, open the view edit and adjust the image by brushing over the model body so as to make sure that the effect is applied only to the background only.
  • The next step is to click on the double exposure icon again and import the second background that is also available in this post and I reduce the opacity to 40%.
  • Go back to the snapseed homepage ,click on the Edit stack tools again and click on view edit and you will remove the effects of the imported background from your reference model body.
  • Now you go back to the menu bar of your snapseed and search for the selection icon and in the selection icon you are going to color grade your photo, to do this watch the editing tutorial video in this post down below.
  • After all the process of adjusting to get a perfect look you can now save your image to your photo album.
