My lovely family How are you today? I hope everything is going well. After spending a long time in the photo editing space—at least over half a decade. I'm here with an amazing photo editing tutorial that requires no background, no preset, just a png file, and the Snapseed mobile application. This photo editing tutorial is so awesome that you can learn it easily. Just like I said earlier, this editing tutorial doesn't require anything, just a png file and your Snapseed app. In this photo editing post, you will learn how to create a dark photo editing with a glowing butterfly background and some tricks and tips for using the Snapseed mobile app to edit your photos. You can also check out other related photo editing tutorials on our website, or you can visit our YouTube channel (Timothy Concept) for different editing tutorials.

In photo above, you'll find out that there are two different image of the same model, and the difference you can notice is the color quality and the background of each photo. On the left side is an edited photo of a dark and glowing butterfly background where the color quality is looking sharp and very appealing to the eyes, and on the right side is a natural picture taken without being edited with a neutral color quality.

What app I used to create this editing

I made this editing concept with the Snapseed mobile app in creating this dark and glowing butterfly background photo editing concept. You can also make use of the Snapseed app in creating your own dark and glowing butterfly background. Snapseed is a very easy to use photo editing app with good color quality editing tools.

How to Edit the Dark and glowing butterfly background

Read the instructions below carefully so as to get the steps and procedures in creating the dark and glowing butterfly background concept

  • First step you need to do is to download the snapseed mobile app on your device, you can get it from the Google Play store that's Android user and also from the Apple Store if you are an iPhone user
  • Download the Butterfly png file in this below this post
  • Open your snapseed application on your device
  • Add the photo that you want to edit
  • Click the menu bar to look for lens blur.
  • Click the lens blur and adjust the blur effect on the photo to your satisfaction
  • The next step is to click on the Edit Stack and an option will pop up, then you click on the view edit option.
  • Brush off the Blur effects from your model face and body of the photo you are editing, leaving a blur background.
  • Now click the tick (✔) button.
  • Under the menu bar again you click on the Vintage icon and you select Vintage 6
  • Click on the Edit stack, view edit option and remove the Vintage 6 effect from your model face and skin.
  • Once you're done,  you click on the double exposure icon and you import the glowing butterfly png that you downloaded earlier in this post
  • Change the blend mode of the png to "ADD"
  • Click the tick icon and you're done with the editing
  • Bonus tip: For your photo not to appear fake to people who will see your editing, I recommend the color grading of the edited photo to get a more realistic look. To get your color grading, I recommend you click on the "portrait" icon in the menu bar or you can click on the "white balance" icon in the menu bar, you then adjust the settings to your preference.
