Hello guys, how are you doing today? I hope you guys are looking good on your end. I'm here with another amazing tutorial on Snapseed, which is one of my creative photo editing projects. The name I'm giving to this photo editing tutorial is Dreamy Snapseed Background Change. In this photo editing tutorial, I made use of a dreamy-looking background. I used the dreamy background photo to enhance the quality and look of my photo, and you can also use it for your photo if you follow the steps in this post. A few days ago, I posted a CB Snapseed photo editing tutorial on my YouTube channel (Timothy Concept) and on our website, where I showed you guys how to turn a simple-looking background into an amazing background. In that tutorial, you will find interesting steps on how to turn your photos and give them an amazing background.
As with most of my first photos in my past posts, I usually have two images in one photo, one on the left and the other on the right, and for this dreamy background photo editing, the non-edited photo is on the left side and the edited photo is on the right side of the photo above. When you focus on the left side of the photo, which is the non-edited image, you've noticed the photo of the model is good, but it's still a bit dull, and the color quality is not as good as expected. But after adding the dreamy background to the photo using the Snapseed app and the Lightroom app, you can notice the change on the left-hand side. For both images on the left and on the right, they are of the same model in the same sitting posture, with a white shirt, black pants, and a pair of sneakers.
What app I used to create this editing
How i was able to create this editing was by using the Snapseed app and Lightroom app. This app are absolutely free, it won't cost you anything and they are one of the best apps when it comes to photo enhancement, photo editing and creative editing on mobile.
How to Edit The Dreamy Snapseed Background Change
To understand the dreamy background change then follow the steps below carefully
- First of all download the snapseed application on your phone whether from the Apple store or Play store
- Download the background file in this post.
- Open your snapseed application on your device
- Imports the photo you want to edit into the app
- Click on the menu bar and search for HDR scape
- Increase the filter strength to 80% and reduce the saturation to -100. This will give you a photo a HDR black and white effect.
- Click on the tick button to select Done.
- Click on the Edit stack button, and some option will pop up on your screen, click on the "view edit" option.
- Erase the black and white effects from the skin and body of the model in your photo. Click on the tick button
- Go back to the menu bar and click on the double exposure icon
- Import the dreamy background you downloaded earlier and increase the opacity percentage to 100.
- Click on the tick button to select done
- Go back to your edit stack and select the view edit option.
- Add the dreamy background to the background of your photo.
- The last step is an optional step which is to color grade the photo and to do this you have to send your photo to the Lightroom mobile app (Another photo editing app) for better color grading or you can watch the YouTube video below to see this steps in color grading your photo.
