Hi, my friends, how are you doing today? I hope you guys are absolutely good. After spending over half a decade in the photo editing space, I'm here with another photo editing tutorial that can be done on your mobile phone and doesn't require any background, no preset, only a single, simple png file, and also the snapseed mobile app. Creating a cinematic look is easy; anyone can create his or her own cinematic concept for their photo just by watching our video tutorial on my YouTube channel (Timothy Concept). In this post, I will not only share the video tutorial but also go through the method of creating this cinematic look.
In the photo above, you can find an image of a model guy sitting on a brick wall, wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and a red pair of sneakers, with a cinematic effect in the background and a yellow light reflecting directly on his face. On the left side of the photo above, you will see the snapseed app tools (meun) settings, which have various editing icons. Out of all the settings, there are three icons identified as methods used in creating the cinematic effects. This effect is so good that it can turn a simple, dull, and natural photo into a good-quality, enhanced photo for you to post on your Instagram or Facebook.
What app I used to create this photo editing
I made use of the mobile Snapseed app for creating the cinematic look. How to edit the cinematic photography look
- The first step is to download the Snapseed mobile app if you don't have the mobile app on your smartphone already.
- Download the yellow png file below in this post
- Open your Snapseed application and import the photo you want to edit.
- After that click on the menu settings and select the Vintage icon, click on "Vintage 6" and adjust the filter to your taste
- Click on the Edit stack icon and select the view edit option.
- Remove the filter effect from the model's face and body of your photo.
- Then after click on the menu setting and select the white balance icon to color grade your photo to a more distinctive look, then after click on the tick button.
- After open the menu setting and click on double exposure to add the yellow light png file you downloaded earlier.
- After change the blend mode of the yellow light png file to "ADD"
- After then you can click on the portrait icon to proceed with more color grading so that your photo doesn't look fake.
- Once you are done with your editing you can now share the photo you edited on your Facebook or Instagram page.
