Black and Blue Lightroom Photo Editing Tutorial | Preset Download

Hello guys, how are you doing? I welcome you to another premium Lightroom preset tutorial. I'm Timothy Concept, with over half a decade years of experience in the space of photo editing using a mobile smartphone. This photo editing tutorial is for you guys to learn what is known as black and blue lightroom, and as a bonus for you, I've also prepared a preset for you that you can download on this page and apply to your photo editing. Everything you need for this photo editing concept can be found in this article. Let's dive into it.

Just by looking at the photo that has been uploaded above, you will notice that there is a particular setting on the left-hand side and a reference image on the right-hand side. The image looks amazing to the eye, as you can see that the model in the image is colorful with premium black and blue concepts. You can also see that everything looks great, even down to the grass, bike, individual, and clothes. In the photo above, you can see that everything is of high definition and high quality, which explains why the settings on the left-hand side are part of the settings that were used in editing the Black and Blue Lightroom.

What app I used to create this photo editing

I made use of the Adobe Lightroom mobile application in creating this black and blue lightroom photo editing. Lightroom is one of the best app available on the internet for photo editing and creating of presets. Lightroom application can enhance your picture quality of your dull photos.

Black and Blue Lightroom Photo Editing Tutorial

To edit the premium black and blue lightroom concept, all you need to do is follow the steps that I'm going to list below:

  • Step one download the lightroom mobile application from Google Play Store if you're an Android user or on your Apple Store if you're an iPhone user.
  • Step two open the application, click the plus icon at the bottom right corner to import your image into the app. Whether you're importing it from your gallery or from your photo album
  • Step three you will see a lot of tool icons in the lightroom mobile application so all you have to do is search for the color icon and under the color icon you will see the temperature, tint, vibrant and saturation. Once you are able to locate the color icon you click on the color icon and you move to the color mix, located at the top right corner of the color icon.
  • After opening your color mix, you will see a variety of different color like red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple and magenta. Then under the setting of each of these color mixes you will find out that there is hue, saturation and luminance. These are the parts that you are going to be tweaked to get this premium black and blue lightroom concept. (for better understanding I recommend that you watch the youtube video below so that you can get the steps easily).
  • The next step is for you to increase the luminous of these colors which are red, orange and magenta while the rest you are going to reduce the saturation of the colors.
  • The next step is to click on done and you go back to the color icon where you find the temperature, tint, vibrant and saturation slide, in that specific icon you're going to increase your vibrance to "+70", the temperature is going to be "-7" the tint is going to be "+4" and the saturation is going to be "-9".
  • Next, you click on the clarity icon under the clarity icon you will find a lot of options, you find the texture, dehaze, feather, vignette, etc. Adjust all the settings to the point that you have a satisfactory result for your own photo. Not everybody has a the same preference, so whatever you are going to edit, get your own style with the result. Always remember not to overdo it when it comes to photo editing, a bit of minimum editing is required so that your photo will not look fake.
  • The next step is for you to go to your detail settings and under the detail settings you find sharpness, noise reduction, color noise reduction, etc. Adjust the setting to a point where you have a desire result that you are okay with. Once you are done you click on done and you save your image.

A lot of people my friend in the photo editing space might find it difficulty in understanding the steps listed above of how to edit this lightroom photo editing tutorial, but for most people who consider themselves as a visual learner or wish to watch the video to see how the steps were applied then you can watch the youtube video down below.

How to apply the Preset

Creating a lightroom preset is very easy and anyone can create their own lightroom preset just by watching our videos on our youtube channel. For this preset (black and blue) I will be showing you how to apply the lightroom preset that I have prepared for you guys.

Once you have downloaded the black and blue lightroom preset. Import the preset into Lightroom, copy the settings you the paste it to the reference image you want to edit and boom you have the black and blue tune.

Bonus: How to create a preset

Once you are done with your edited Image, instead of you exporting the file as a jpg file you are going to export this as a DNG file. Then after it has been exported the image is saved as a dng file it automatically turns into a preset that you can share what you find for their editing or use to edit other images you have. Whereas if the preset is sent to someone or is downloaded by someone the image can be imported into lightroom and you copy the settings and the settings can be pasted into another photo and the lightroom photo editing settings will transfer to the new photo you are editing.
