Background Color Change Photo Editing Tutorial | Timothy Concept

Hi everyone, I'm your tutor, Timothy Concept, with another editing tutorial. I'm aware that most of you guys are emotional. Everyone wants to be cool on social media in their day-to-day lives, and editing your photos is a very important aspect before publishing them on Instagram or Facebook. What is photo editing? Photo editing, in simple terms, means turning a dull and simple photo into a better-looking one. So today I'm going to be doing the same in this article. We will be turning a simple photo into a premium photo just by changing the background color, just as you can see in the photo below, with some steps and tweaks.

As shown in the photo above, you will see two images of the exact model, one on the left and one on the right, but the only difference you can find in this image is that the one on the left side is without editing, whereas the right side is the result shown after being edited. So let me give a brief explanation of the photo above. As we can see, the image on the left side is unedited and the photo is looking dull; the brightness, contract, saturation, and highlight are not perfectly adjusted, which means the photo was just captured and uploaded without any form of editing. On the other hand, on the right side, the image was perfectly adjusted, the brightness, saturation, contract, and all other settings makes the image more beautiful.

What app I used to create this Editing

I made use of the Picsart App in creating this photo editing tutorial which took approximately like 10 minutes from me to create this edit. The picsart is amazing photo editing app with unlimited features to help people go beyond the use of filter and create great photo. If you are a beginner than you should subscribe to my YouTube channel for video tutorials on picsart photo editing.

How I Edit the New Picsart Background Color Change

Read carefully and follow the instruction below to learn the step-by-step process for this editing tutorial:

  • The first step is to download the picsart application on your mobile device whether from the iOS store or Google Play store
  • Adjust the FX effect in your picsart application to get the background color, you can watch that in my YouTube channel or the youtube video below in this blog post
  • Erase the necessary area of your reference photo where the background color is overlaying with the model.
  • After all the process of getting the background color using the FX icon, you proceed to adjusting the color tone to your own taste.
  • Now that you are done, you can share your image on Facebook and Instagram.

Note: I recommend you watch my YouTube video that I have in this post to learn the photo editing processes visually and follow along.
