Download Lightroom Moody Dark Tone Preset || Lightroom Moody Dark Tone Photo Editing Tutorial

Hello ladies and gentlemen, Good morning! Good afternoon! or good evening! Whatever time zone you might be in, my name is Timothy Concept, and I'm about to share my skill in photo editing with over half a decade of experience when it comes to mobile photo editing (Lightroom, Snapseed, and Picsart). I bring to you a new epic photo editing trick that is good for outdoor images. This new photo editing doesn't require any png or background image; all that is needed is a few tweaks to the settings or going the easy route, which involves copying and pasting the moody dark tone preset setting that I have created and made available at the bottom of this post. Without further delay, let's dive into the full concept of this moody, dark-toned photo editing.

In the photo you see above, you'll notice two photos of the same model with major differences in color quality and resolution quality. The photo on the left, which is unedited, has a color quality that makes it appear dull to the human eye, or, I will say, look unappealing. However, after applying the moody dark tone Lightroom preset to the photo, it immediately enhanced color quality and resolution quality. You can clearly notice the difference in the photo.

What app I used to create this moody dark tone photo editing

The app I used is the Lightroom app. Some people call it Adobe Lightroom Cc mobile. The point here is you can easily find it on the Apple Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android of your smartphone. From my experience Lightroom is the best app to create any form of preset on mobile, as this blog is focus on mobile photo editing.

How I Edit the Moody Dark Tone in Lightroom

I will try as much as I can to break the editing steps into simple pieces, that it can be easy for a lame man to understand the process, but if you still find it difficult to understand, you can watch the YouTube video below or just drop a comment below this post and I will reply you with answers to yourquestions. Let's dive into the steps for this editing:

1. Download Lightroom app. Open the Lightroom mobile application.

2. Import your image into the Lightroom tab.

3. Select the light icon in the tool section of Lightroom app to adjust the settings, the light icon includes exposure, contrast, highlight, shadow, white and black. Increase the exposure, contrast, highlight, and white button, but reduce the rest which include the shadow, and black.

4. The next step is to click the curve button, adjust the curve to look like a slight "u" shape.

5. Then click the toning icon and increase the vibrance. Then under the toning icon, click the color mixture to reduce the following saturation of the yellow, green, orange, blue, aqua, and purple.

6. Adjust the photo until you have all the photo dark expect the red and orange tone in the skin, remain unchanged.

7. Then you click the detail icon where you will add vintage, dehaze and any other setting to achieve the requirements for a dark tone.

Note: Make sure never to over edit your image in other not to make the photo look unreal, it's best to edit with minimal changes to achieve amazing results with Lightroom photo editing.
