The photo that you can obviously see above shows the result after trying my photo editing method, which I will be explaining in this blog post. The right-hand side of the photo above shows a beautiful and high-quality image of the dark and blurry background implemented in our reference model. The left-hand side of the photo shows the settings inside the Snapseed app, and I indicate the icon used to create the Dark Blue and Blur Background Photo Editing Tutorial.
What App I used To create this Editing
Snapseed and Lightroom was use for this photo editing. Yes, Snapseed and Lightroom are two of the best photo editing apps available to Android and iOS users. These apps have over millions of downloads and a good rating from their users. I can boldly say that Snapseed and Lightroom are great apps to edit your photos on the go without the stress of looking for a professional photo editor.
How I Edit the Dark and Blur Background
- Step one involves opening the Snapseed App and importing your reference photo you want to edit into the snapseed app.
- Next click the tool icon and select the "HDR Scape" icon inside the tool icon and select the "people option" and reduce the filter strength to a decent amount of 25%
- Next, you click the "White balance" icon inside the tool icon. Reduce the temperature and increase the tint of your reference photo. At this point you will begin to notice so smooth difference in your image.
- Then go to the homepage of the Snapseed app and Click the three dots at the top right corner of the app and select view edit. This will show you all the layers of editing you have made already, select the white balance layer and brush off the face of your reference image to remove the white balance effect on the face of your model or any area where the skin of the model is reveal. After select done
- Then select the "Len Blur" icon inside the tool icon. Increase the blur filter strength to 100% and save your image to your photo album or gallery.
- Now use the "Healing" icon to remove the reference model from the background. Also blur the background to your satisfaction.
- Then import the image you save earlier from your photo album or gallery into the edit. The way to do this is to click the" Double Exposure" icon in the tool icon.
- Click the three dots at the top right corner of the app and select View Edit. Select the double exposure layer and brush over the image to add in the reference model to the blur background. Select done after you have achieved the desired results.
- Select the "Tune Image" icon to achieve the best tone for the photo.
- Now to achieve the dark blue tone, you will need to export the image to the Adobe Lightroom app and add the dark blue tone over there.
- Worry less if you don't know how to add the lightroom dark blue tone. I have made a preset available in this blog post which what you can download and use it for the dark blue effect
