Black and Grey Tone Lightroom Photo Editing Tutorial | Preset Download

  Hey folks, how are you doing today? I hope today has been amazing so far. Here is another photo editing article, and in this post, I would like to share some tips and tricks on how to edit a black and grey tone. January is the beginning of the year, and you want to start the year by editing high-quality and premium photos. To enhance and give a better effect to a simple natural photo. I've created the dark and gray Lightroom presets, which we use to edit your simple photos and turn them into high-quality, contrast, and detail photos. The concept of today's editing is not that I will not just change the background color and skin tone of a normal photo, but I have also provided a preset that you can download below in this post.

The photo above is just a concept of two models in the same pose but with different tones and background colors. The one on the left is the normal photo shoot in raw, straight out from the camera. If you focus on the background behind the model, you will notice that the trees and the grass are just normal nature green. But as for the edited photos, the background and trees are turned a black and gray color with added bright tone features for the model's face and skin. The models in the phone are the same with the same pose, both sitting on hilly terrain with a sweatshirt, pants, and a pair of sneakers. 

What app I used to create this photo editing

To edit this photo you will need the Adobe Lightroom cc mobile app, Lightroom are provided with a lot of tone adjustments and advance photo editing features. Lightroom is the best app through which you can get a better editing effects. To use this Lightroom app you can read instructions provided in the Lightroom app or watch my video on my YouTube channel (Timothy Concept) to learn how to edit using Lightroom

Device That can use the Adobe Lightroom app

Any device that is:

• Android 5.0 + above

• Minimum of 2 GB Ram

• Has 3 GB Internal Space

How to Edit the Black and Grey Lightroom Tone

Follow the instructions below, as to achieve the same result as mine:

• Download the Lightroom app

• Now Open the app

• After add the photo you want to edit into the lightroom app.

• Now tap on the light icon inside the Lightroom app settings and retouch your photo to your preferences taste.

• Then after you click the color icon and adjust. The steps taken to adjust the color icon settings you can watch on in the YouTube video below

• After following the process, your photo will be edited in black and grey effect.

How to Apply the Preset

In the tutorial video above, I made use of pre-loaded setting in a template format (dng) which is known as a "preset". It can be download below in this post and it's free. To Apply the preset follow the steps below: 

• Download the preset (dng) file below in this post.

• Then import the file into the Lightroom app on your phone

• After open the preset file and copy the setting of the file.

• Now import the photo you want to edit in lightroom

• Next, paste the setting into the photo you just imported.

• Now you have the same editing features as mine in your own photo.
